Behind the stay’s whitewashed façade the clubhouse is defined by its soothing, feel good interiors and relaxed outdoor spaces, ideal for laying low after a long night of beach-club hopping. Our favourite rooms
Every room of Soho Roc’s Cycladic club is unique in design and layout, though all share sand-toned walls and floors, built-in beds and a pick ‘n’ mix of bohemian homewares, from artisan tapestries and rattan armchairs to wicker lampshades and earthy, kilim floor cushions. The Big rooms come with a luxurious soaking bath tub, but the cooler, lower-ground rooms are an excellent option for night owls in need of a lie-in.
Poolside
Surrounded by loungers and overlooking the Aegean, the club’s curvy saltwater pool makes a fine spot to flop and drop. Kids are welcome until noon, after which things get a little more grown-up. You’ll find wilder dips down below, where a wooden pontoon straddles the rocks, allowing you to launch into the Aegean, Poseidon-style.
Spa
There are few things in life a bit of fresh air can’t cure. Even fewer when you chuck-in an alfresco massage and breezy gym session. Here at Soho Roc House you’ll find a double dose of outdoor health hits: the wellness pergola, out in the garden, where treatments are undertaken with Soho House’s signature Cowshed products, and at the beach-facing gym where free weights, machines and cardio equipment are supplemented by daily sunrise fitness classes.

Children
Welcome, though tailored to adults. Kids are allowed in the pool between 10am and noon, and in the restaurant until 7pm. Extra beds can be added to most rooms for €100 a night (cots are free for under-threes) and babysitting can be arranged on request.
Sustainability efforts
It’s reassuring to know that Soho House are working to deliver an environmental impact strategy across their sites. With 2030 goals set to enhance and standardise recycling programmes and responsible food-waste management at every outpost of the member’s club globally. They also work with local suppliers selected for their like-minded responsibility. In the kitchen, there’s scrutiny around how Soho House sources coffee, cocoa and palm oil, as well as sustainable seafood and responsibly reared meat. Expect greater choice of meat-free dishes and seasonal ingredients whenever practical. Measures to assess Soho House’s carbon footprint and reduce emissions are ongoing.

Hotel restaurant
You’ll find Soho Roc’s all-day-dining restaurant tucked away behind the club’s scenic infinity pool, with front-row seats to the Aegean. With a focus on Mediterranean fare and Soho House signatures, the menu consists of hearty dishes designed to provide nutrients and comfort – and, let’s face it, if you’re rocking the dancefloor till 3am, you’re going to need a good measure of both. The lemon spaghetti is a club favourite, but you can never go wrong with a classic Greek salad.
Hotel bar
The pool-adjacent bar has the atmosphere of an outdoor living room and fittingly, that’s exactly where you’ll find the club’s resident crowd of long-haired bon viveurs lounging around as their low-key sipping sessions stretch from day to night. The spicy Picante de la Casa (Patron Reposado tequila, agave, lime, coriander, chilli) is a Soho House staple, but for something more distinct, opt for one of the club’s location-inspired mixes – we love the Aegean spritz (prickly pear, lemon and tsipouro).

Soho Roc House is perched neatly on the edge of Paraga, a golden beach at the southernmost point of the island. Mykonos old town, with its wealth of restaurants, bars and boutiques, is 15 minutes away by car.
Planes
Mykonos International is a 15-minute drive away. From here, Soho House provides free Porsche transfers. Otherwise, a taxi will set you back between €30 to €40.
Automobiles
A car comes in handy for exploring the coast’s more remote beaches. If you do opt for wheels, there’s private parking opposite the house, available to guests at €20 a night.
Other
Offering a little longer – though arguably more scenic – journey, the ferry from Athens will get you to the island in just under three hours.
Worth getting out of bed for
Start the day with a hearty dose of vitamin D and a good ol’ stretch (lord knows you may need it after throwing shapes all night at one of the island’s infamous beach clubs). The outdoor gym makes a fine spot to catch some fresh air as you sun-salute your way out of a hangover with an early morning yoga class. Not to worry if the only pose you feel up for is face-down-horizontal – a morning massage at the pergola treatment hut, as the waves lap the shore, will have you feeling reborn in no time. Depending on the season, the club has weekly activities on offer from cooking classes and horse riding to resident DJ sessions that provide a mellow soundtrack to your poolside lounging. After dark things can get a little lively (though they tend to leave the serious partying to the neighbours at Scorpios). For a change of scene, head into Mykonos old town, where whitewashed houses with bright-blue shutters line a maze of stone-paved streets. Don’t forget to pass by the island’s iconic windmills for an Instagram hit. Boutiques, cafés and restaurants are plentiful in these parts, and lend themselves to that great Mediterranean tradition of drawn-out dining and all-day sipping. And though Mykonos by night is arguably more debauched than divine, come the light of day the island is surprisingly pious; scattered across her craggy cliffs, you’ll find 365 whitewashed churches (yep, that’s one for every day of the year). And, while we aren’t suggesting you visit them all, the Church of Panagia is worth the walk up Ano Mera hill, if not for its funky, 15th-century curves, then for the unparalleled views of the Aegean below.
Local restaurants
A short stroll along the beachfront will lead you to a string of rustic, family-owned Greek tavernas. Nikolas Taverna and Tassos Taverna are two of the most popular, each offering toe-in-sand dining and simple – though delightfully fresh – Greek fare overlooking the sea. For something a little more cutting-edge, Soho House-owned Scorpios is one of the island’s most sought-after spots, where you’ll find a host of young, bohemian types crowded around communal tables and a best-of-the-Med menu; think Middle Eastern mezze, fresh-from-the-sea clams and crabs and succulent lamb kebabs slathered in Greek yoghurt.
Local cafés
More cocktail-hour than caffeine-hour, you’ll find Mykonos’ café culture around the old town, about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Don’t expect Starbucks-style brews, though, as they tend to be rather traditional and, in true Greek fashion, focus on food rather than liquids. A stone’s throw from the island’s iconic windmills, Cosmo Breakfast Café’s cosy patio makes a fine spot for lunch, with omelettes, pancakes and fruit-heaped granola bowls.
Local bars
In the mood for dancing? Romancing? You’re in the right place. With some of the island's beach clubs on your doorstep, you’ll never be far from the party. On the next bay, Nammos is one of the trendier (and pricier, mind) options, with their own brand of blue-and-white-tinged joie de vivre and an all-night dancefloor fuelled by top international DJs. SantAnna, meanwhile, shares a beach with Soho Roc House, and is a tad more relaxed, with a focus on day-time festivities (we’re looking at you, 30-somethings), cocktails galore and splash-happy sipping in the largest seawater pool in the Med.
