Our favourite rooms
Opt for an upstairs Deluxe or Superior room with a balcony for the ideal spot to take in the quiet misty mornings. On chillier nights, the fireplace in the Superior and Premium rooms is the ideal backdrop for a great Napa cabernet.
The heated lap pool is surrounded by a lounge area and sun chairs, with a nearby hot tub.
The tranquil Francis & Alexander Spa offers massages, facials, scrubs and couples’ treatments sourced in and inspired by the surrounding Napa Valley. The Un-Corked, for example, is an exfoliation and massage that uses ground grape seeds and wine corks.
Bring an appetite: Yountville is home to some of the best restaurants in the country, so you’ll eat well within an easy stroll of the hotel.
The public areas are wheelchair accessible, and the pool has a motorised lift. There’s no elevator access for the second-floor rooms, but there is one ADA ground-floor guest room with a roll-in shower.
Take a table in the courtyard, for starlit dinners.
Hip, but casual, just like the food. Opt for a jumpsuit or maxi dress with light layers for chillier Napa nights.
Redd Wood, from renowned local chef Richard Reddington, is a hip casual bistro specialising in wood-fired pizzas, wood-roasted meats and vegetable dishes using local produce. The pizzas, including a version topped with bacon, asparagus and red onion, are especially good with Napa cabernets, and a nice complement to the rich, more formal dining options around town.
There’s a bar within the restaurant, with a fantastic selection of local wines and classic cocktails.
Breakfast is served from 7.30 to 10am, lunch from 11.30 to 2pm and dinner from 4 to 10pm.

Worth getting out of bed for
Blame wine hangovers or the valley’s restorative fresh air, but Napa is notorious for its slightly later start to the day. If coffee on the balcony and pastries from world-famous Bouchon Bakery – available as part of the breakfast buffet – don’t fully restore you, book a massage in the wine-inspired spa or nab sunloungers by the pool.
Yountville is renowned for its fantastic food, thanks to Thomas Keller’s trio of destinations. Tables at The French Laundry are nearly impossible to come by, and require reservations the day tables become available, but those lucky enough to land a table can enjoy inventive seasonal fare often using produce plucked from the massive garden across the street. Bouchon Bakery is great for pastries and casual lunches. Keller’s Ad Hoc was not meant to be a permanent restaurant, but the prix-fixe family-style dinners became so popular that it’s become a permanent fixture on the Napa Valley scene, especially on Mondays for fried chicken. Redd, by Richard Reddington earns rave reviews and repeat visits for fresh California dishes that are exceptional with the locally sourced wine list.

The King Room with Fireplace was very spacious, comfortable and the bed was amazing. It was really nice to sit by the fire in the slightly chilly evenings. The hotel has a nice vibe, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the welcome drink on arrival is a nice touch. The pool was a great place to relax.

It is an honor to be the first to review this hotel. It is a boutique hotel that has everything you need or want for a long weekend. The room is perfect with a small secluded patio and nice bathroom. On-site is a Yountville quality restaurant that is casual. The breakfast meets all expectations and the world-class Bouchon Bakery pastries make it an extra treat. Add in the bikes to ride to the vineyards and the complementary wine tastings at two high-end tasting rooms and the hotel has everything you want or need. Oh I forgot, when you check-in they offer you a full pour glass of a nice wine or a glass of fine whiskey. The fact that it was only 11.30 made me reluctantly go with the wine. And finally, the staff was truly professional and there to help with any request. A wonderful stay!
