Our favourite rooms
The three rooms are like sisters – they share the same features of local artwork, Mexican maximalism and traditional furnishings, yet all look distinctly different – and their sororal names come from the colloquial saying ‘si no es Chana, es Juana, y si no, su hermana’ (if it’s not one thing, it’s another). Chana feels like a Frida Kahlo-inspired fantasy with its striped walls, ornate metal mirror and fresh flowers; make Juana your love nest with its romantic rose-pink walls and sunrise-facing terrace, or sprawl out on Su Hermana’s marigold terrace, the guesthouse’s crowning jewel.
Packing tips
You’ll want to save some space in your suitcase: if you like anything you see at this guesthouse – the soap, artwork, textiles – you can buy it to take home with you as a keepsake of your storied stay.
Also
This pequeño crashpad partners with local therapists for in-room massages (on request). You’ll also find two boutiques here, with owner Laura Kirar’s art, all-natural and -native perfumes from Xinú, and other female-owned fashion and jewelry brands.
Pet‐friendly
Pooches are welcome to stay in any room for free, just let the hotel know ahead of arrival if they’ll be joining you. See more pet-friendly hotels in San Miguel de Allende.
Children

Sustainability efforts
This small-scale stay ensures its environmental footprint is equally slight: energy-efficient appliances are installed throughout; produce, artwork and materials are sourced locally, and a zero-plastic policy is adopted in favor of biodegradable or reusable alternatives.
