This 60sq m apartment is named after the winged figures who were said to ferry warriors to Valhalla, where they guarded them for future battle. It’s so named because guests not only enjoy high-flying views over the city, but become a kind of guardian, with a portion of every stay in the suite going towards supporting Icelandic Paralympians. Flooded with light thanks to its large windows, the suite has a large, open-plan living area with a wooden dining table with seating for six; doors lead to two large terraces with views over the city. There’s a marble-topped kitchenette against the wall with a hob, dishwasher and a sink. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has bunk beds; the bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. A further two guests can sleep on the sofabed in the living room. The suite also has a Samsung smart TV; Bang & Olufsen sound system; minibar; Nespresso coffee machine; tea-making kit; free reusable water bottles; Soley Organic bath products. Some rooms have access to a private balcony or a shared terrace.
