How does the gift list work?
It’s simple: you can use your gift list to raise contributions to put towards Smith hotel or villa stays and SideStory experiences for a honeymoon. It takes just a few minutes to create your gift list page; after that, you can share your unique code with your friends and family, allowing them to view your page and contribute however much they like.

Can I share a link on social media?
Yes, when you create your gift list you’ll be given a unique link. This will take family and friends directly to your contribution page.

Is there a charge for this service?
No – it’s completely free.

How do I register?
It’s easy and takes less than a minute, just enter your details here. If you’re not a Smith member already, you’ll be asked to sign up first (don’t worry, that’s free too).

When should I start setting up my list?
That’s up to you, but we recommend sending it out with your ‘save the date’ cards or wedding invites.

How long will it take to set up a list?
Ten minutes, max. And, it goes live on the site as soon as you’ve created it.

How can my friends and family access my gift list? 
You’ll be given a unique code that you can send to your guests, which they can use to log in here: www.mrandmrssmith.com/wedding-list. Or your guests can speak to one of our honeymoon specialist on 1 800 464 2040 and quote the gift-list code to contribute over the phone.

Can we leave a personal message for guests using our gift list?
Yes, you can create a personal welcome message for your gift list page, as well as your own thank-you message to appear once they’ve contributed. Guests can leave you a celebratory message when they contribute, too.

Will guests contributing be able to see what others have said and contributed to my list?
No, the list is for your eyes only.

How do we know when someone has made a contribution?
You (and your partner, if you wish) will get an email each time someone contributes.

Is there a closing date for contributions to my gift list?
Your gift list will automatically close at midnight on the day before your wedding date. If you want to change that date, please contact our in-house travel team on 1 800 464 2040.

How do I access my gift list online?
Just go to the Mr & Mrs Smith site and sign into your account. You can access your wedding list account at www.mrandmrssmith.com/members/giftlists.

How do I change my gift list details?
If you need to change, add or delete anything from your gift list page, please use this form.

How do I delete or cancel my gift list?
If you need to change, add or delete anything from your gift list page, please use this form.

How can we use the gift list contributions?
They will be put towards hotel and villa stays, or SideStory experiences, booked with Mr & Mrs Smith for your honeymoon. See the terms and conditions for more info on how to redeem your gift list total.

When will we receive your gift list funds?
Funds will go directly into your Smith loyalty account. If you’ve already booked your honeymoon hotel(s), the gift list total will be refunded to your credit card or by bank transfer. If your funds exceed the booking total, any excess will be transferred to your Smith loyalty account, which you can put towards future stays and experiences. If you haven’t booked a stay before the list closes, all your contributions will be transferred to your loyalty account, where they will be valid for two years.
 
What if our trip has to be prepaid before the list closes?
If you book a hotel requiring prepayment before the list closes, the total prepaid will be refunded to you from your contributions once the list is closed (if your contributions are not sufficient to cover the prepayment total, you will receive a refund equivalent to the amount contributed to your list). Any unused funds will go directly into your loyalty account to put towards future bookings. This will be valid for two years.
