Luxury holidays in Pinzolo

Between rugged granite peaks along the Sarca River, Pinzolo rests in Italy’s Trentino region. Winter brings a playground for skiing, snowshoeing, and après-ski revels; in summer, alpine pastures open up to hikers, cyclists and climbers. In fine Italian tradition, the food scene is a standout, and the architecture invites admiration — most notably, the Church of San Vigilio, which features a 16th-century Dance of Death fresco.

When to go

To enjoy the autumn colours in low season, visit from September to early November. The ski season kicks off in late December and lasts until early April, while June to August is prime hiking time.
