Need to know
The little church, owned by the Arkadi Monastery, can only be used for official orthodox weddings, and the monastery must give permission for the ceremony. A local priest will conduct the service. Alternatively, unofficial wedding services are held outside the church. To have a ceremony here, the hotel requires exclusive hire and a minimum of 20 guests staying overnight. Up to 25 guests can stay over, but from April 2011, there will be space for 39.
Inspiration
Forget sugared almonds and chocolate dragée, give guests their own little vial of olive oil instead.
