Keemala Bird's Nest Pool Villas

A cocoon of woven wood, with a glass façade (for views of the rainforest – some have partial sea views too), these 185sq m villas are the most extravagant bird dwellings we’ve seen. There’s a terrace with a private pool, and a bath tub perched to one side for bathing in style. Interiors are designed using natural materials, with wood-lined walls, stone floors and bamboo elements. The four-poster bed is placed for the best views, and the bathroom has a rough-hewn stone tub and twin basins, with a frestanding monsoon shower. There’s plenty of space for lounging in too, and all villas have a flatscreen TV in the bedroom, iPod dock, free WiFi, minibar, bottled water, air-conditioning, a kettle and cafetiére, and Siam Botanicals bath products.
