  • White, glorious white. The 2008-built villa follows the tried-and-tested architecture of Spanish farmhouses, with terracotta-tile roofs atop a gleaming exterior designed to keep the inside blissfully cool.
  • Duarte Pinto Coelho had a thing about textures. Most of the walls feature at least one fabric or artifact, and the interiors are filled with rustic-touch modern style – think ceramic lamps and rough-weave baskets.
  • Comfy sofas are arranged around a cozy fireplace in the living room, which opens through wall-to-wall patio doors to the terrace and plunge pool.
  • The fully equipped kitchen extends into an open-plan dining space.
