Atop a hill in glorious isolation, Can Lavanda is a modern paradise on a former finca standing among fruit orchards, Ibizan pines and lavender. Neighbours are few and far between, but views of the sea and hills are plentiful. Meticulously restored, Can Lavanda is now a luxurious idyll in which to spend long, unhurried days with your nearest and dearest. The villa is nestled in the isle’s interior, so basically everything Ibiza has to offer is within reasonable reach. But that’s if you absolutely, definitely need to leave, which we’re not sure you do: it’s easy enough to just stay home and enjoy the infinity pool with views over the verdant hills, with the little Smiths hiding out in the finca’s treehouse. If you’ve got beach on the brain, there is (of course) a breathtakingly beautiful option nearby at Benirras – crystal waters, turquoise sun loungers and sublime sunsets included.

  • The master bedroom has a king-size bed, separate dressing room and private terrace with breathtaking views. The bathroom is spacious, with twin sinks, a rain shower, separate bath tub and, of course, more amazing views.
  • Bedroom two has a queen-size bed with a private terrace overlooking the gardens and the pool. The bathroom has a large shower.
  • Bedroom three has a double bed and a private bathroom; it’s one of the original rooms of the finca, with historic features to prove it.
  • Bedroom four has a queen-size bed and access to the outside terrace; it has a private bathroom with a shower.
  • Bedroom five has a queen-size bed, private bathroom with a shower and is accessible via its own annex entrance.
  • Bedroom six is in an annex away from the main areas of the finca, with a private entrance. It has a queen-size bed and a private bathroom with a shower.
