A jetset weekend in Napa Valley

By the picturesque Silverado Trail lies Milliken Creek & Spa, a luxury hotel where you can hear the gentle burble of the Napa River from your window. Your Friday–Sunday stay is in a Luxury Room (the hotel’s best, naturally) with its own hydrotherapy tub and a fireplace to get cosy by.  

Over the weekend you’ll be plied with chocolate-dipped strawberries and champagne (your spoiling Smith Extra) followed by vintner-recommended wine and cheeses every evening during the ‘magic hour’, when the sun sets and turns the landscape golden.

Daily breakfast is included in your stay, too. It’s something of an event here: trays laden with syrup-drizzled Belgian waffles, frittatas, omelettes, or the full, meaty shebang will be ferried to your bed, balcony or somewhere secluded in the grounds – wherever you wish to dine.

15 minutes pre-departure arrival, ticketless boarding, shining curvaceous Swiss-made aircrafts, and seats that eliminate the need for elbow combat with just seven fellow passengers: we have lift off.  

Your pilot will greet you personally (and he’ll even get you a cup of coffee if you ask nicely), and light snacks are served en route.

Bird’s eye views of the iconic Route 1 coastline between LA and San Francisco, a stretch of soaring cliffs and rugged bluffs battered by the Pacific, are all the in-flight entertainment you need.

Your flight, from Hawthorne Municipal Airport – just 10 minutes’ drive from LAX – to Napa County, takes just under two hours; on arrival the hotel is a fleet 15-minute taxi ride.

This trip is only available for weekends (Friday to Sunday only) throughout the summer, up to and including August 25–27 2017. Full prepayment is required when booking, and no refunds or cancellations are possible with this package. All passengers will have a background check completed, which is a standard requirement for private airlines.
