Our favourite rooms
It’s hard to choose just one villa, as they’re all rather special. We love the aptly named Ocean Panorama Pool Villas, though, which boast breathtaking views of Phang Nga Bay from the bedroom, bathroom and infinity pool, and also star outdoor dining, an alfresco shower and double spa pavilion for pampering massages.
Poolside
Drink in those views of the craggy limestone islands jutting from the ocean as you lie beside the placid infinity pool. Dip in and you really will feel as though you’re about to swim right off the edge.
Spa
The hotel’s green-minded wellness village doesn't just care for its embracing environment but for you, too. Spanning an impressive 3,000 square feet, the alfresco space houses ten tropical treatment rooms (two of which are open-air) for bespoke and specialty massages. There’s also a clutch of relaxation saunas, a beauty room, steam room, sauna, and a pavilion for guided yoga, meditation and sound healing sessions. There are personal wellness screenings available if you'd like a deep analysis into how you heal, and bio-hacking set-ups for the serious wellness gurus. Guest practitioners are often about, hosting a soothing schedule of classes throughout the year. And fitness fiends will find their haven in the kitted-out gym.
Packing tips
A wafty chiffon kaftan for her, a trés masculine sarong for him, and a collection of designer swimwear for both. Lying by the pool, stretching out on the beach and exploring the underwater world are high on all guests’ agendas on Koh Yao Noi.

Recommended rooms
The Garden Hideaway Two Bedroom Pool Villa has plenty of space and separate bathrooms.
Activities
Depending on how old they are, kids will enjoy pool splashing, following the resort's nature trails, bowling with coconuts, trying out arts and crafts, climbing rock walls, playing table tennis and being pampered in the spa during special junior treatments. Beach and water sports are also great distractions for the smalls, as are local elephant rides.
Swimming pool
The infinity pool might look rather grown up, but there’s plenty of shallow space and a few pool toys for children.
Meals
A kids’ menu and high chairs are available in the restaurants. The staff can give a helping hand by heating up bottles and baby food, or packing a lunch for local excursions.
Babysitting
Hotel staff members also act as the resident babysitters. It costs THB412 a child between 9am and 11pm, and THB824 after 11pm. Make sure you book at least three hours in advance.
No need to pack
Cots, high chairs, strollers, car seats, sterilisers and a range of baby toiletries and children’s toys, books and DVDs are all on hand. If you require a nappy service, make sure you book it in advance.
Sustainability efforts
Six Senses has an impressive environmental record and this is evident at Yao Noi. The property is designed using natural materials to harmonise with the landscape, and villas have been built to reflect the sun’s heat yet utilise natural light. Outside of the day-to-day runnings, the hotel help fund local education programmes, often contribute to the donation of medical equipment to Phuket and Phang Nga's public hospitals, and have installed filter systems in surrounding towns to ensure drinking water is accessible to all local communities.
