James Davinson

Travel Specialist

A childhood trip to Australia and India originally ignited my love for travel – a love which continued to fuel trips around the world into my adult years. I’ve now worked in the industry for 10 years, sampling different foods, learning about new cultures, hiking up mountains and scuba diving off coastlines, and it’s these experiences as well as the idea of a ‘crafted-for-you’ stay that I look forward to giving our members.

James'stop Mr & Mrs Smith stays

  • Mahé, Seychelles

    Constance Ephelia

    Photo of room

I knew the Seychelles was beautiful, but a stay in Constance Ephelia certainly reconfirmed it. Once you’ve finished admiring the views, sampling local fare at Adam & Eve, and ziplining through the rainforest; venture around the bay for a spot of snorkelling at Port Launay’s marine park.

  • London, United Kingdom

    The Lost Poet

    Photo of room

The perfect place to stay if you’re looking to get away from it all – but with only four rooms it’s best to book early. Go for The Muse, which comes with a freestanding bath tub and stunning second floor terrace.

  • Chilean Patagonia, Chile

    The Singular Patagonia

    Photo of room

This is a top choice if you’re looking for something a little further out of the city. Originally used for meat storage and later converted into a museum, the building carries a rich past that’s retained in its intact machinery and old tannery for a rustic-luxe feel.

…enjoying dinner at Baros in the Maldives, watching the sun set after a day diving with moray eels, manta rays and turtles.
