Leon Beckenham
Spanish superfan
Dyed-in-the-wool Londoner Leon Beckenham has been around. As well as a couple of years gallivanting about in South and Central America, between desk jobs he spent the best part of a decade touring the world with a band you've probably never heard of. After upping sticks from the capital, he moved to Mallorca, where he had a stint as managing editor of the island’s top glossy magazine, and wrote extensively about the Balearic isle’s many facets and foibles for the likes of The Times, The Telegraph, The i Paper, and various travel guides. Itchy feet struck again, and he's presently settled on Catalonia's craggy Costa Brava — at least for now.
