Ivy Ackerman
Culinary creative
Based in NYC, Ivy Ackerman lives for dining out. Often joking she was born without the 'butter thumb', her laughable lack of kitchen confidence drove her to a life – and ultimately build a career – set in and around restaurants. In 2012, Ivy launched experiential dining company Butter and Egg Road; designing creative culinary experiences. Ivy also consults for food publications and food-tech startups. Coupling an insatiable curiosity for what’s happening in today’s dining scene, with a passion for understanding the psychology of food, Ivy began her signature brand of immersive food trend journeys in 2015. Ivy lives in Chelsea, Manhattan and can often be found grabbing a morning latte at Café Grumpy’s, savouring oatmeal at Nourish Kitchen + Table or ordering a spicy scallop hand-roll at Sushi Seki.
