Florence Reeves-White
Sentimental storyteller
With an Italian grandmother and a name like Florence, it's perhaps no surprise that Italy was where Florence Reeves-White's fascination with travel was first ignited. Her role as a senior writer for Hearst Magazines — writing across Women's Health, Elle, Esquire and Good Housekeeping — has seen her pointing at puffins swooping across the fjords of the Faroe Islands and helicoptering over herds of elephants migrating across the Okavango Delta in Botswana, but she still finds time to return to Italy every year. One day, she hopes to finish her first novel off-grid in a crumbling Tuscan farmhouse, but for now she's taking her faithful film camera on each adventure and sharing the stories of those she meets who are generous enough to tell them.
