Elizabeth Winding
As a child, all of Elizabeth’s summer holidays were spent in Binham, Norfolk (bar one giddy year when the family tried Wales instead). As a result, she didn’t board a plane until the grand old age of 15. This probably informed her choice of career: becoming a travel writer. Having started out editing guidebooks for Time Out, she now works for Metropolitan, the Eurostar magazine, and can often be found in Paris. She’s travelled everywhere from Beirut to Lapland, but still has a sneaking affection for Norfolk.
