Clemmy Manzo
sun-chasing hispanophile
Perhaps it was Clemmy’s childhood spent continent-hopping that set her on a nomadic path for life… her earliest memory was riding an Indonesian tuk-tuk, while formative years living in Rio meant she was wearing Havaianas way before they were cool and samba-ing on Copacabana beach every New Year’s Eve. Over two decades later, she moved back to South America, this time Argentina, to work as editor of Time Out Buenos Aires. She’s also contributed to several Rough Guide publications, which have taken her to the swamps of the Pantanal and Colombia’s Caribbean coastline, among other places. She currently lives in Barcelona, where she freelances as a travel writer/copywriter, sampling the best of Catalan cuisine on her lunch breaks.
