These family-sized suites are made up of a 55sq m master cocoon and a 20sq m ‘urchin’ tent, giving children a space of their own. The main tent has a vaulted ceiling, large, teak-framed windows and a wooden deck. Inside, it’s furnished in a style that recalls the golden age of travel and exploration, showcasing a teak floor, dark leather chairs, a writing desk and a king-size four-poster bed. The open-plan bathroom has a freestanding copper bath tub, walk-in rainfall shower and twin sinks. There’s also free WiFi; a minibar; Sonos sound system; air-conditioning; coffee machine; tea-making facilities; free bottled water; and Ophir bath products. Connected by a wooden footbridge, the ‘urchin’ tent contains twin beds, lounge chairs, a thick-piled carpet and a small ensuite bathroom. If you're staying with children, there's an extra $175 charge per child, per night.
