Imperial Suite

This suite is on the Nobel Floor and has views of the city and the internal garden. With original frescoes by 19th-century artists Angelo Pietrasanta and Luigi Samoggia, and a red-velvet-canopied four-poster bed, this suite is dressed for dignitaries (Japanese Emperor Akihito is a former guest); there’s a small private balcony and a lounge area with a sofa, desk and antique furnishings. The second bedroom has a blue-velvet-canopied four-poster, and each bedroom has a Carrara-marble-lined ensuite bathroom with a bath tub.
