Our favourite rooms
Ocean-gazing terraces and calming, contemporary interiors are constants wherever you decide to rest. Suites are the humblest of the range, but still come bedecked with furnished outdoor areas, functional wet bars and some with their own private plunge pools. For extra space to settle, villas span multiple floors and tout full kitchens; or, splash out for a residence and you'll have your own infinity-edge pool, direct access to the ocean, at least one guest casita and a wealth of living areas.
Poolside
The Strand's central saltwater pool welcomes all ages and watches over the water from its sun-drenched perch, open for laps and lounging from 8am to 10pm. For private paddles, most villas and suites come with their own plunge or small swimming pools, and each residence has its own infinity-edge pool.
Spa
There’s no spa, but in-room treatments can be arranged on request, at an extra cost.
Packing tips
Cooper Jack Bay’s clear waters mean snorkels aren’t a necessity, but for a closer look at its tropical residents we’d suggest a pair.
Also
You’ll have free access to the gym during your stay, tricked out with all the latest equipment and open from 6am to 10pm.
Pet‐friendly
Dogs aren’t allowed at The Strand Turks and Caicos, with the exception of certified service animals. See more pet-friendly hotels in Turks & Caicos.
Children
The Strand Turks and Caicos is for over-18s only.
Sustainability efforts
The Strand’s low-impact approach is evident across its operation: the resort was intentionally designed around the island’s native ecosystems, with buildings constructed to catch prevailing winds, minimizing the need for air-conditioning. Smart systems and solar panels reduce reliance on diesel-generated electricity; rainwater catchment and greywater systems facilitate zero-waste irrigation, and the restaurant works with local anglers who advocate responsible fishing practices. Its status as a ‘Pollinator Sanctuary’ also recognizes the hotel’s efforts to protect native bees, butterflies and other pollinators, which you’re invited to learn more about on a guided Butterfly Pavilion Walk.
