You’ll find large Comfy Luxe rooms in both the main house and the coach house. They all have super king-size beds, walk-in monsoon showers and freestanding bath tubs – some even have mezzanine-level bathrooms. Some in the coach house are double-height with mezzanine-level bathrooms and views over the water meadows. There are just two Hideaway rooms, both completely unique. Room 2, in the main house, has an ornately gilded sitting room, a large master bedroom with a super-king four poster bed and a mezzanine bathroom with walk-in monsoon shower and free-standing bath. Bedrooms have a TV and DVD player, writing desk, minibar and tea- and coffee-making facilities; bathrooms are stocked with Bramley products.

There are just two Hideaway rooms, both completely unique. Room 20 has a central super-king-sized bed, a wet bar and a spacious bathroom with walk-in monsoon shower and free-standing bath. Bedrooms have a TV and DVD player, writing desk, minibar and tea- and coffee-making facilities; bathrooms are stocked with Bramley products.

One half of a charming cottage, ideal for families or groups, Lodge one overlooks the Kent Downs and is the larger of the two with a spacious lounge, log-burner and well stocked kitchenette. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bath tub and a twin room with ensuite shower room.

Also located in the pretty, brick-lined cottage, and great for families, Lodge two has a cosy kitchen and sitting room with a log-burner, and a master bedroom and bunk-bed room upstairs, with views out across the water meadows and the village of Bridge. The bathroom has a shower and bath tub.

A huge upstairs-downstairs rustic bedroom converted from the old stable block (lots of original timber and rough-cast plaster remains) in the grounds with far-reaching views over the water meadows and the kitchen garden. Downstairs has a cosy sitting room with a log burner; upstairs a master bedroom and spacious bathroom with a freestanding roll-top bath and large monsoon shower.

Nestled in the water meadows on stilts and set along a boardwalk that runs adjacent to tributaries of the river Nailbourne, the Hop Pickers’ Huts are a unique addition to The Pig at Bridge Place. Full of rustic reclaimed texture, cosy furnishings and each with its own log burner these Huts are made for adventurous escapes for two. Each Hut has a king-sized bed and a bathroom with a monsoon shower and freestanding bath tub.
