The Laslett

The Laslett’s a true Brit, as evidenced by the work of notable native designers in rooms: statement pieces from Pinch and Race Furniture, Nocturne Workshop lighting and Eleanor Pritchard fabrics mingle with antiques picked by connoisseur antiques dealer Jerome Dodd. These 18–19sq m rooms have a double bed, a small desk and a white-and-grey, metro-tiled ensuite with a walk-in shower and full-size REN bath products. All rooms have an LED TV with Sky channels, a selection of Penguin classics, minibar and bespoke bathrobes.

Dressed by British designers (mid-century-modern-style furnishings from Pinch and Race Furniture, lighting by Nocturne Workshop, and Eleanor Pritchard fabrics) and adorned with antiques from local outfit Les Couilles du Chien, these 17–22sq m rooms make very hip hideaways. There’s a king-size bed, desk and a ‘big bar’ with large bottles of drink and generous snacks. White-and-grey, metro-tiled bathrooms have a sizeable walk-in shower, and full-size REN bath products. An LED TV with Sky channels, a selection of Penguin classics, and bespoke bathrobes round off the luxury extras.

Mid-century-modern furnishings from Pinch and Race Furniture, geometric Eleanor Pritchard textiles, Nocturne Workshop hanging lamps and bold artworks by Barbara Hulanicki and Barry Kamen are accentuated by antique finds from local shop Les Couilles du Chien. All rooms have a ‘big bar’ (a minibar with generously sized products), a desk and an ensuite with either a combined bath tub and shower or a sizeable walk-in shower, and full-size REN bath products. An LED TV with Sky channels, a selection of Penguin classics, and bespoke bathrobes round off the luxury extras.

There’s either a combined bath tub and shower in the ensuite, or a walk-in shower and freestanding tub. All suites have a ‘big bar’ with drinks and snacks, an LED TV with Sky channels, a selection of Penguin classics, a Roberts Revival DAB digital radio, a Nespresso machine with Fairtrade organic CRU Kafe capsules, full-size REN bath products and bespoke bathrobes. Three suites can fit an extra bed (free for under-12s, £45 a night for guests aged 13 and over).
