Decorated with local artworks, this cosy, traditionally decorated 32sq m room (Carreg) is located in the main house on the second floor. There's a super king-size bed, as well as antique furniture and chintz armchairs dotted around the room. This room also has a terrace with large sash windows and south-facing views over the hotel's gardens. The ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower and a freestanding bath tub. Every room includes a TV, free WiFi, tea and coffee and Goodwash bath products. A cot (free) can be added to this room subject to availability.

Named after travel writer Richard Fenton, this one-bedroom 27sq m room is decorated in gentle tone and light hues with a double bed (twinned on request), a terrace and south-facing views over the garden. There's also an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rain shower and freestanding bath tub, as well as a fully stocked minibar, in-room safe, coffee machine and space for a baby cot (on request).

Each 31-34sq m Deluxe Double room is individually designed with luxurious soft furnishings and impressive local artworks – three are set in the main house (Grassholm, Derwen and Seddon) and two are set in the 15th-century longhouse called the Bailiff's Cottage (Preseli Loft and Meadow Loft). Each has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a standalone bath tub, a walk-in shower and underfloor heating. All rooms have a TV with Sky channels, free WiFi, tea and coffee, and Goodwash bath products.

The Deluxe Twin room (Partridge) is located in the eaves of the hotel with slanted ceilings and south-facing views over the courtyard. Decorated with local artwork, this room has a twin bed, an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bath tub, as well as a minibar, coffee machine and space for a cot.

There are two Junior Suites in the main house (Beca and Cresselly); one (Elderflower) in the beamed loft of 16th-century Poyer's Cottage, and two (Verbena and Angelica) in the hideaway Herb Cottage. Each 39-45sq m suite has a super-king bed, an ensuite bathroom with a standalone bath, a separate walk-in monsoon shower and cosy underfloor heating. All are individually styled with hand-picked antiques, luxurious soft furnishings and lounge sofas. Three of the 34-42sq m Cottage Garden suites (Sorrel, Thyme and Sage) are located in the Herb Cottage, just 100 yards from the main house; the other two (Byre and Cwtch) are in the 15th century Bailiffs Cottage. Each has soothing countryside views from a private garden or terrace. Individually designed, you'll find contemporary country elegance inside with a super king-size bed, a lounge with sofas, a credenza with a free minibar and a bathroom with a cast-iron bath tub, walk-in shower and underfloor heating. There are two Cottage Master suites (Lovage and Bramble), each full of classic countryside charm. Bramble is in the Poyer's Cottage but accessible from the main house and has a sun-drenched conservatory with views of the gardens, a super king-size bed (can be made into twins on request) and an ensuite bathroom with a deep soaking tub, a monsoon shower and cosy underfloor heating. Lovage is in the Herb Cottage and has vaulted ceilings, a lounge with squishy sofas, a wood-burning stove for chilly nights and a super king-size four poster bed; the ensuite bathroom has a deep soaking bath tub, a monsoon shower and underfloor heating. In each suite, you'll also find free WiFi, a TV with Sky channels, a free minibar, tea and coffee, and Goodwash bath products. A cot can be added to these suites free of charge, subject to availability.

The two traditionally designed 45–48sq m Master House suites (Henry and Daniel & Elizabeth) are located in the original building and have vaulted ceilings, a four-poster bed, Georgian Fireplaces and fabulous views of the Preselis. Each has a separate lounge and a bathroom with a deep, double-ended bath tub and separate shower. There's also a flatscreen TV with Sky channels, a free minibar in the credenza, free WiFi.
