Perched above the river, these 100sq m tented suites are decked out in Bill Bensley’s signature style: expect carved wooden details, a scattering of vintage books and handpicked objets d’art. Lounge on the deck, an indoor-outdoor living space kitted out with a comfortable seating area and a river-view roll-top bath tub. Inside, fall asleep on the inviting king-size bed to the sound of the babbling river; there’s also an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower and twin sinks. Wild Tents have free WiFi, air-conditioning, an iPod dock, a well-stocked minibar, bathrobes and slippers, free bottled water, tea and coffee kit and Khmer Tonic toiletries. Extra beds are available for $750 a night for 10-15 year olds and $1,000 a night for over-15s.
