Luxury Rooms

The Luxury Rooms are set away from the main building; they all have similar decor, with pale walls and dark furniture, open fires and the Victorian-style design of the main house. Each room has a king-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower and a claw-foot bathtub. There’s also tea- and coffee-making facilities, a satellite TV, and air-conditioning, as well as custom-made linen, goose-down bedding, pure wool carpets, underfloor heating and heated towel rails in the bathroom. Some of these rooms have private patios, others share.

Family Cottage

  • 2extra beds - free for ages 3 to 18
Schoone Oordt’s old coach house has been restored and reinvented as a family-friendly den, with an extra-long king-size bed for parents, and a loft area with two extended single beds. The suite is cosy and private, set apart from the others. As well as a private patio, bathroom with a tub and underfloor heating, an open hearth, satellite TV, and air-conditioning, the Family Suite has a small kitchenette for preparing light meals and snacks.

Honeymoon Suite

  • 2guests
The private Honeymoon Suite is tucked away on the edge of a lush, shady little forest beside the Koornlands River. While it has all the delights of the Luxury Suites, the Honeymoon Suite is unashamedly romantic, and comes with a large hearth, exquisitely carved four-poster bed and oversized bathroom.
