Deposit Policy

Rosewood Kauri Cliffs requires a deposit of a one-night stay, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due on check-out. For stays during the holiday season (15 December to 5 January), full non-refundable payment is due by 1 September. A 2.6 per cent convenience fee will be applied to payments made by credit card. For Kauri Cliffs Four Bedroom Villa and Kauri Cliffs Two Bedroom Villa stays from 1 April to 19 December 2025 and 11 January to 31 March 2026, a one-night deposit is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due 90 days before arrival. For Kauri Cliffs Four Bedroom Villa and Kauri Cliffs Two Bedroom Villa stays from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, a deposit of one night is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due For all other rooms, stays from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, a one night dpeosit is due at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due by 1 August 2025.

Cancellation Policy

For stays from 1 October to 14 December bookings of three rooms or less, cancellations made up to 90 days before arrival will be charged a $250 administration fee which will be deducted from the deposit and the balance of funds will be refunded. Bookings can be postponed (up to 61 days before arrival) to a new date within six months of the original booking and the full deposit will be transferred. Cancellations made within 90 and 61 days of arrival will be charged 50% of the total booking; those made within 60 days of arrival will be charged in full. Special conditions apply for bookings of four rooms or more. For stays from 15 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 for bookings of three rooms or less, cancellations made before 1 September will be charged a $250 administration fee which will be deducted from the deposit and the balance of funds will be refunded. Cancellations made later will be charged in full. Special conditions apply for bookings of four rooms or more. For stays in Kauri Cliffs Four Bedroom Villa and Kauri Cliffs Two Bedroom Villa from 1 to 30 April 2025, 1 October to 19 December 2025 and 11 January to 31 March 2026, cancellations made up to 120 days before arrival will be charged for 25% of the stay; cancellations made between 120 and 91 days before arrival will be charged for 50% of the stay. Cancellations made within 90 days of arrival will be charged in full. For stays in Kauri Cliffs Four Bedroom Villa and Kauri Cliffs Two Bedroom Villa from 1 May to 30 September 2025, cancellations made up to 90 days before arrival will be charged for 25% of the stay; cancellations made between 90 and 61 days before arrival will be charged for 50% of the stay, cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before arrival will be charged for 75% of the stay and cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged in full. For stays in Kauri Cliffs Four Bedroom Villa and Kauri Cliffs Two Bedroom Villa from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, cancellations up to 1 August 2025 will be charged for 30% of the stay; those made after 1 August 2025 will be charged in full. For stays in all other room types from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, cancellations at any time will be charged in full.
