Deposit Policy
Rosewood Cape Kidnappers requires a deposit of a one-night stay, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due on check-out.
For stays from 6 January to 14 December, a deposit of one night (including tax) is required at the time of booking to confirm the reservation and a valid credit card will be held on file to secure the booking. A 2.6% convenience fee is applied to all credit card payments.
For stays from 15 December to 5 January, full non-refundable prepayment (including tax) is required at the time of booking. A 2.6% convenience fee is applied to all credit card payments.
For Hawke's Bay Four Bedroom Villa, Hawke's Bay Two Bedroom Villa and Hawke's Bay stays from 1 April to 19 December 2025 and 11 January to 31 March 2026, a one-night deposit is required at the time of booking and the remaining balance is due 90 days before arrival.
For all room stays from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, full prepayment is required at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
For stays from 1 October to 14 December for bookings of three rooms or less, cancellations made up to 90 days before arrival will be charged a $250 administration fee which will be deducted from the deposit and the balance of funds will be refunded. Bookings can be postponed (up to 61 days before arrival) to a new date within six months of the original booking and the full deposit will be transferred. Cancellations made within 90 and 61 days of arrival will be charged 50% of the total booking; those made within 60 days of arrival will be charged in full. Special conditions apply for bookings of four rooms or more.
For stays from 15 December 2024 to 5 January 2025 for bookings of three rooms or less, cancellations made before 1 September will be charged a $250 administration fee which will be deducted from the deposit and the balance of funds will be refunded. Cancellations made later will be charged in full. Special conditions apply for bookings of four rooms or more.
For stays in Hawke's Bay Four Bedroom Villa, Hawke's Bay Two Bedroom Villa and Hawke's Bay Two Bedroom Suite from 1 to 30 April 2025, 1 October to 19 December 2025 and 11 January to 31 March 2026, cancellations made up to 120 days before arrival will be charged for 25% of the stay; cancellations made between 120 and 91 days before arrival will be charged for 50% of the stay. Cancellations made within 90 days of arrival will be charged in full.
For stays in Hawke's Bay Four Bedroom Villa, Hawke's Bay Two Bedroom Villa and Hawke's Bay Two Bedroom Suite from 1 May to 30 September 2025, cancellations made up to 90 days before arrival will be charged for 25% of the stay; cancellations made between 90 and 61 days before arrival will be charged for 50% of the stay, cancellations made between 60 and 31 days before arrival will be charged for 75% of the stay and cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged in full.
For stays in all room types from 20 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, cancellations at any time will be charged in full.
