Just over 600sq ft in size, this apartment has a lavender-scented roof garden overlooking the bustling Via Condotti and beyond over Rome. There's a large deck with a sitting area, dotted with pretty terracotta pots. Guests access the suite via a spiral staircase leading to a sitting room; the main bedroom leads off from there, with a king-size bed (twins available on request), and there’s a bathroom with a bath tub and walk-in shower. A petite second bedroom – outfitted in blue and white, with an array of Chinese vases – has a double bed set in an alcove and an ensuite with a bath tub.

Through huge wooden doors there are two large reception rooms and a master bedroom, the centrepiece of which is a large canopied bed dressed in silks with a sizeable original oil painting at the head (five more are hug on the walls, and one is the semi-secret door to a marble ensuite). There's a fully equipped kitchenette too. Up a small flight of stairs is the second bedroom, the Blue Room, has a Delftware palette, with plentiful china vases and pots, a double bed, bookshelf with art tomes and elegant antiques, and it has a second bathroom with a bath tub.
