White walls and hardwood floors make these 20–25sq m rooms light and bright. Each has a sizeable bed with a thick, springy mattress, Egyptian linens and a frame head board, flanked by tea-chest bedside tables. There’s a small seating area with wingback chairs and quirky touches: vintage rotary phones, orchids in baskets and one room has a flutter of metal butterflies swooping up a bathroom wall. There’s a rainfall shower, and rooms have a Bluetooth-enabled 42” flatscreen TV, WiFi, a minibar, bathrobes and Prija bath products.

Decorated in dove grey with flashes of artfully tarnished silver, with hardwood floors and white walls, these 25–30sq m rooms are stylish yet characterful – vintage rotary phones adorn upcycled tea-chests, baskets of orchids sit atop rustic tables and the bathrooms have mod frescoes and and a rainfall shower. Beds are large and bouncy (with a 32cm mattress), draped in Egyptian cotton linens, and there’s small seating area with two wingback armchairs. Rooms have a Bluetooth-enabled 42” flatscreen TV, WiFi, a minibar, bathrobes and Prija bath products.

Tactile velvets and silks, a king-size bed (some rooms have a modern four-poster) and Egyptian-cotton linens: these sizeable rooms (30–35sq m) are comfortable yet stylish, while hardwood floors and white walls keep them light and bright. Large bathrooms are slightly sunken with a rainfall shower, some (not all) rooms also have a bath tub. We especially like the retro rotary phones on tea-chest bed-side tables, pairs of orchids planted in baskets and the splashes of lilac and turquoise in the bedroom. A grand 45sq m in size, this suite has a ceiling lined with painted wooden beams, wood floors and white walls, and a centrepiece four-poster bed, with a thick, buncy mattress and Egyptian-cotton linens. There’s an open-plan seating area with a button-back sofa and wingback armchairs, and the bathroom is the only one in the hotel with a bath tub and rainfall shower. Model boats are mounted on the walls, statement pieces are crafted from tea chests and a vintage rotary phone ads a touch of old-school charm. The suite has a 55” Smart TV, WiFi, minibar, bathrobes and Prija bath products.
