Portrush Adelphi sits right on Main Street in the heart of its namesake seaside town, just a pebble’s throw from sandy beaches and the legendary Royal Portrush Golf Club.

Planes

Most international arrivals land in Belfast, where the team can arrange private transfers (at an extra cost) for the hour’s drive to Portrush Adelphi. If you’re coming from within the UK, Derry Airport trims the journey to around 45 minutes.

Trains

There are daily direct trains to Coleraine from Portrush Station, with weekend services also running to Belfast and Derry — and from the station, it’s just a seven-minute stroll to the hotel.

Automobiles

A car isn’t strictly necessary, though it’s handy if you’re planning to explore the Causeway Coastal Route. There’s no on-site parking at the hotel, so you’ll need to make use of nearby street spaces or the pay and display at East Strand Car Park.

Worth getting out of bed for

Sure, golf may be the headline act here — with Royal Portrush practically on the doorstep and Portstewart, Bushfoot, Castlerock, Ballyliffin and even Royal County Down within easy striking distance — but there’s plenty beyond the fairways to keep days full.
