This 45sq m suite has impressive frescoed ceilings and a mosaic floor, but perhaps its most dramatic feature is the bathroom, a room with a 6-metre-high arched ceiling and a rainfall shower designed by artist Andrea Sala. The bedroom has a king-size bed, minimalist furnishings and a large window overlooking the verdant courtyard. There’s also free WiFi, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, free bottled water and Grown Alchemist bath products.

There are five of these 40sq m suites, each full of period features, minimalist furniture and art from the owners’ impressive collections. They have high, frescoed ceilings, king-size beds and large windows overlooking Gagliano del Capo’s central square or the hotel’s inky pool. Suites can accommodate an extra bed on request.
