This 90sq m two-bedroom suite is a standalone building within a short walk of the main lodge. The position – up on stilts –and large private viewing deck makes the most of the views over the watering hole and bushland beyond. Inside, the suite has a living area with seating and dining areas, and two bedrooms with king-size four-poster beds. The bedrooms share an ensuite bathroom with twin sinks, a deep soaking tub and indoor and alfresco walk-in showers. The Family Suite also has free WiFi; a minibar; Nespresso coffee machine; tea kit; free bottled water; Rain Africa bath products.

This 540sq m standalone villa sleeps up to six in comfort. It’s a short walk from the main lodge but designed to be as private as possible, with a private chef and butler staff taking care of all meals and drinks, which are prepared in the central lounge space, where there’s a sleek kitchen and a wooden dining table that can seat up to 10. At the other end of the room, there’s a spacious sitting area with leather sofas and soft lounge chairs with views over the bushland. There are three bedrooms – one master suite and two guest bedrooms, all with access to the private terrace that wraps the property. All three bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bath tub and a walk-in shower. Outside, there’s a large sun deck with a private pool and sunloungers, and a covered terrace with an alfresco lounge and dining area. Please note that Villa rates are for up to four guests — a fifth and sixth guest can be added as extras for ZAR18,809 an adult (over-12s) and ZAR9,413 a child. If you’re staying between 16 December 2026 and 10 January 2027, it’s ZAR21,014 an adult and ZAR10,516 for children; and between 11 January and 30 June 2027, it’s ZAR20,313 an adult and ZAR10,166 for children.
