In the bedroom there’s a super king-size bed with the option to add two single pull-out beds; the ensuite bathroom has a hot-water shower and twin sinks; there’s an outdoor shower too. The lounge terrace is open to the elements and has panoramic views over Marakele; the treehouse also has an alfresco dining terrace, where you’ll enjoy gourmet picnics. Unplug and spend time star-gazing or wildlife spotting; there’s no WiFi in this treehouse. You’ll also have direct radio communication with the main lodge during your solar-powered stay. A night in this treehouse must be booked in conjunction with a Marataba Suite. Two extra beds (suitable for children aged 6–15) can be added to the treehouse; each extra bed is charged at 25% of the room rate.
