Conran has furnished this romantic suite (50sq m) in antiques and more modern pieces from his collection, leaving the original dark-wood detailing intact. There’s a furnished, ground-floor private terrace, which can be screened off with voile curtains; indoors, the four-poster bed is also swathed in white voile, and a walk-through wardrobe leads to a tadelakt bathroom with a combined bath tub and shower.

With snow-white walls and large windows, this 50sq m suite is light and bright and has a large, elegantly decorated terrace, with a table for alfresco dining and voile curtains for a smidge more privacy. The open-plan bedroom and living room have designer pieces and antiques (all from Conran’s personal collection): purple-velvet seating, marquetry tables and a large four-poster bed swathed in white net. Dark-wood doorways and wardrobes are an elegant touch, and the tadelakt bathroom has a large walk-in shower.
