Deposit Policy

Janeiro Hotel requires a deposit of 50% of the booking total, which will be charged to you directly by the hotel. The remaining balance is due on check-in. The 50% non-refundable deposit is only due for stays over Carnival (February 28 to March 10) and New Year’s Eve (December 26 to January 1). During these seasons, the remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel for free up to 3pm (local time), 48 hours before arrival; after this, you will be charged the first night’s stay, plus taxes. For stays over national holidays (2 to 5 January 2025, 15 to 23 February 2025, 7 to 21 April 2025, 1 to 4 May 2025, 16 to 18 May 2025, 19 to 22 June 2025, 20 to 23 November 2025 and 19 to 26 December 2025), you can cancel for free up to 30 days before arrival; after this, you will be charged in full. For stays over Carnival and New Year’s Eve (26 December 2024 to 1 January 2025, 28 February to 5 March 2025, 7 to 10 March 2025 and 26 January 2025 to 4 January 2026), if you cancel up to 60 days before arrival, you will be charged 50% of the total stay; after this, you will be charged in full.
