The hotel’s two minisuites (rooms 3 and 6) are 31–32sq m in size and set on the first and second floors respectively. Bright Room 3 was once the house’s entertaining room, and has white wooden floorboards, an original masonry heater in the chimney space, and a large antique writing desk. Room 6, at the top of the house, is well suited to families as it has an extra bed, as well as clean pine floors, an original architect’s desk, and a pair of binoculars for making the most of the lake views. Both Minisuites have modern, white-tiled ensuites with a rain shower and underfloor heating, iPads and free WiFi.

Stëlor’s four double rooms (numbers 1,2,4 and 5) are between 12 and 16 sq m in size and are each decorated according to a different theme (the soldier, the romantic, the scientist and the writer), with unusual works of art, assorted antique finds and ornaments (such as a telescope or a taxidermied bird) and selected books. Each room has a double bed that can be twinned, and a modern, white-tiled ensuite with a rain shower and underfloor heating. Every room has free WiFi and an iPad for guests to use.
