The Pulitzer Terrace is open from May to September.
At the hotel
Free WiFi, library, in-room spa/beauty treatments, laundry service. In rooms: smart TV, air-conditioning, minibar, Nespresso coffee machine, tea-making kit, bespoke bath products, bathrobes and slippers. The Suite also has a complimentary minibar.
Our favourite rooms
We love the Pulitzer Extra rooms, which have the feel of an architect’s studio. The starkness of their design means that touches such as the high-gloss black doors, which come with English-style brass knockers, and hinged headboards upholstered in vertical black pinstripe really stand out. They also come with their own seating areas.
Poolside
There is no swimming pool at Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona – all guests, however, can use the facilities at the nearby Holmes Place Fitness Centre for a small fee.
Spa
There's no spa, but in-room treatments can be arranged. The hotel has also partnered with nearby Holmes palace, a premium fitness club, offering guests exclusive rates.
Packing tips
Balenciaga finery for swanning around the rooftop terrace bar on warm, sultry nights.

Sustainability efforts
They’ve got solar panels, LED lights and water-saving devices aplenty at Hotel Pulitzer Barcelona. You’ll also find bamboo straws, osmotic water bottles and refillable bathroom amenities. But that’s not all; The Greenhouse menu favours seasonal produce and locally sourced meat, and the hotel uses eco-friendly suppliers and certified waste management and recycling companies. Hotel Pulitzer is involved in renewable energy schemes, is dedicated to hiring (and promoting) women in its workforce and has pledged to preserve the cultural heritage of Barcelona.
Since 2017, the hotel has donated one per cent of all booking revenue to the Doctor Clavel Foundation, which carries out medical missions to treat neurosurgical disorders in countries that lack sufficient resources. Hotel Pulitzer also donates to NGO Yamuna, which works on social projects for Madagascar’s homeless women and orphans; sales of artwork through the Experiencia Pulitzer events help to fund Yamuna’s Sira Mamy project, which generates jobs and training opportunities in the tourism sector for disadvantaged women.
