These cheerfully coloured rooms, with stripy carpeting and lipstick-red chairs, range in size from 23–25sq m. Light and airy, these rooms have a large double bed with a goose-down duvet and hand-printed throw, and a seating area with either a writing desk or small dining table. Bathrooms have stylish honeycomb tiles, deep bath tubs and standalone rain showers, underfloor heating, and magnifying mirrors with de-misters. In each room there’s an LCD TV and DVD player, Tivoli radio, underfloor heating, minibar filled with gourmet New Zealand treats and Ecostore bath products.

A more spacious option at 30 to 40 square metres, ideal for couples wanting more room to spread out, business travellers needing space to work or longer stays. Each Boutique Suite is individually styled. Bathrooms offer deep baths and standalone rain showers, underfloor heating, and magnifying mirrors with demisters.

For even more luxury, space and style you have the option of a two level suite with spiral stair access from living to bedroom, or a one level suite. Some suites have juliette balconines onto the rustic courtyard and the glass roofed atrium, others have inner city views. All are individually decorated with local arts and crafs, hand printed throws and funky luxurious deep pile stripped carpet. Double sofabeds and dinding tables feature in a spacious living area.
