Hazlitt's has two Junior Suites, each measuring 44sq m and decorated in lavish style. Both rooms are air-conditioned and have free WiFi, a flatscreen TV, stereo, minibar, safe and REN bath products. Henry, 13th Baron Willoughby of Farnham, lived at no 6 Frith Street from 1768 to 1775: the suite in his lodgings is a luxurious ground-floor suite, with a bedroom and private sitting room, separated by French doors. The sitting room has its original 18th-century fireplace, sofa, armchairs and bureau bookcase. The bedroom has a carved oak bed at the foot of which stands a large mahogany compactum. Behind the heavy silk curtains are the original folding shutters. In the bathroom stands a late Victorian bathing machine. Teresa Cornelys was an 18th-century Soho courtesan. Her room is just as she would have wished, with her portrait, a huge bed decorated with rich fabrics and hand-carved gilded cherubs. A dressing table sits behind panelling next to the fireplace, and there's an adjoining private sitting room. The bathroom, has its own staircase, and an elegant Louis XV vanity unit and a period bathing machine with a generous bath tub and shower.

The renegade Duke, Soho Square’s most notorious resident, was beheaded in 1685 for leading a rebellion against the King, his uncle. He would have felt very much at home in this 64sq m suite, which is split over two floors and has a grand bedroom with a queen-size bed, an intimate sitting room with a working fireplace, and a garden with a sliding glass roof. You'll find it hard to resist sharing the vast marble bath, filled with water from the beak of a life sized eagle. The room is air-conditioned and has free WiFi, a flatscreen television, stereo, mini bar, safe, ornate antique desk and REN toiletries.
