Our favourite rooms
We’d skip straight to the Duplex Rooms, tucked away in their own building for all the privacy of a pint-sized Brussels townhouse. Lovers of old buildings should instead check into a Heritage or Grand Heritage Suite, where original panelling, mouldings, fireplaces and decorative wallpapers remind you that this was once a flourish-filled 19th-century residence.
Spa
Down in the hotel's former kitchens, Ré Labo de Beauté specialises in Valmont treatments, alongside a sauna and hydrotherapy tub for slower-paced afternoons. If your idea of self-care involves breaking a sweat, there’s a fully kitted-out gym in the converted stables with an impressive haul of Technogym machines.
Packing tips
Bring your gallery stamina: Faubourg 21 sits in Brussels’ cultural heart, with museums and art houses in every direction.
