With an extra twin bedroom in addition to the master, this 300sq m two-storey suite in the seventh floor is the hotel’s biggest, ideal for families in search of every opulence. There are two wide terraces, offering sweeping views over the city and river, and a very big living area downstairs with a library, lounge area with rich red leather sofas and a home cinema system, and a dining room for 10, set beneath Philippe Starck chandeliers (a crystal dinner service is provided). The master bedroom has a king-size bed, a Bose entertainment system with a flat screen TV, and a marble-and-glass fitted ensuite with double sinks, a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi. This two-bedroom suite reflects the decadent style of hotel owner Alan Faena and the outré design of Philippe Starck. It looks like the residence of a well-travelled eccentric, with its huge chandeliers and candelabra, chairs with gilded-swan armrests, door disguised as a bookshelf and rose-emblazoned rugs. There’s a library of books, local artworks, Peruvian-style pom-poms and tassels and a fireplace. One bedroom has a king-size bed, the other twins, there’s a full kitchen and two marble bathrooms: one with a bath tub big enough for two and a walk-in rain shower, and you can admire panoramic views of the Faena Art District and Puerto Madero. Each room has an Empire-style queen-size bed and a glass-fitted ensuite with marble floors and a walk-in shower. The bedroom’s on the upper level, with a king-size bed along with a marbled floor ensuite containing a walk-in shower and a separate bath tub. This two-storey 132sq m suite looks over the city from the hotel’s first floor. The suites are decorated in dark wood with flashes of red velvet and Argentinian artwork adorning the walls. The upper level has a large bedroom with a king-size bed and a little lounge, plus a marble floored ensuite with a walk-in shower and a Jacuzzi big enough for two. Shamelessly romantic, this spacious 150sq m suite on the seventh floor is split into two levels and has impressive views of the river and ecological reserve, which you can admire straight from the bed.
