Bovey Castle

These rooms are in either the main hotel or the mews, and have views of the manicured inner courtyard or the woodlands. Each 18sq m room has a small double bed an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. These rooms are for solo Smiths only; it is not possible to add a baby cot or extra bed. Located in the main hotel, these rooms sport minor imperfections such as small bathrooms. These 26sq m rooms are suitable for short stays; two of the ground floor rooms and one of the first-floor rooms is wheelchair accessible. No extra bed or cot is possible in these rooms. The Castle rooms have generous bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms with showers, plus armchairs, desks and plenty of storage. They’re found in the main building, with uninterrupted views of the courtyard and the woodlands beyond. A baby cot or an extra bed for children under 15 can be added for £20 a child, each night on request.

These make rather grand family rooms, but there are only four of them, and they’re all arranged slightly differently. Each has a king-size or queen-size bed (twins on request) and an ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath tub. No extra bed or cot is possible in these rooms.
