Arctic Bath

The cosy 24sq m water cabins are connected to the shore by a floating walkway ‒ frozen in place in winter and buoyed by the river in summer. You won’t have views of the night sky from the inside, but they come into their own in summer when you can swim, stargaze and sunbathe from your private pontoon. The clean-lined decor features pine walls, pops of pastel colour and modern Scandi furniture. Each has a double bed and the ensuite bathroom has a shower, bathrobes and C/O Gerd bath products. You’ll also find free WiFi, underfloor heating, a wood-pellet burner and coffee machine. One of the water cabins is adapted for wheelchair users.

The 62sq m land cabins are elevated on stilts to protect the ground below. Perfect for families or groups of friends (they're set up to sleep five people; the rate is for double occupancy and each extra guest will be charged) and have a split-level layout: a spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine floor. You’ll have panoramic views of the river, the forest and the ever-changing skies from the dramatic double-height windows. Inside, the decor is all pale timbers, with soft pastel furnishings, smoky gray linens and sleek Scandi furniture. There are five single beds (three on the mezzanine and two on the ground floor) and an ensuite bathroom with a bath tub and a shower. You’ll also find free WiFi, underfloor heating, a wood-pellet burner, coffee machine, bathrobes and C/O Gerd bath products.
