These bright and airy 22sq m rooms come with a king-size bed dressed in Hale Mercantile linens, air-conditioning and heating, free WiFi, on-loan bicycles, beach towels and sun umbrellas, plus access to the common spaces: the kitchen, lap pool, reading room and deck areas. The ensuite bathroom has a shower, a freestanding bath tub and a stash of Hunter Lab bath products. This room type is accessed via a staircase (for those with limited mobility, the Private Plunge Pool room is a better choice). If you'd rather a little more space, the larger Master or Plunge Pool rooms have equally charming decor.

There may not be pool access, but these view-graced 30sq m rooms – accessed via a staircase – have a three-seater lounge and window bar with two tractor stools, where you can perch and soak up the lighthouse views. Each room has a Sealy Crown Jewel king-size bed with a pillow selection and Hale Mercantile linens, an on-the-house minibar (with drinks, breakfast granola, yoghurt and home-made compote), air conditioning and heating, free WiFi, and on-loan bicycles, beach towels and sun umbrellas. The ensuite bathroom has an antique clawfoot tub, a shower and Hunter Lab products.

Bed down in one of these rooms and you’ll get your own plunge pool and private garden to relax in. There’s also an outdoor shower (plus an ensuite shower inside with Hunter Lab toiletries), a king-size bed with Hale Mercantile linens, and an on-the-house minibar with drinks, breakfast granola, yoghurt and home-made compote.
