Luxury holidays in Umbertide
In Umbertide –a quaint town in northern Umbria – sunset-hued homes and the glow from traditional trattorias cast watercolour-worthy vignettes over the Tiber. Days are spent strolling through its historical heart, mediaeval fortress and quiet churches, and further afield you’ll find towering castles and Roman ruins. All in all, it’s thirsty work, but don’t fret – wineries and wine bars will restore even the weariest of travellers with some of the region’s best blends.
