Luxury holidays in Segovia

When to go

Unlike Spain’s southerly coast, Segovia offers milder climes, with temperatures hovering between 10–20 degrees. Visit in the summer for optimal sunshine, or autumn for rolling hills of burnt orange. Alternatively, April sees Segovia’s theatrical Easter processions, famous throughout Spain.

Getting there

  • Planes

The closest international hub is Madrid-Barajas Airport. Direct flights arrive here from all major cities in the UK, Europe and the US. The journey from Madrid to Segovia city takes around 90 minutes by car.
  • Automobiles

Driving is an excellent way to reach the smaller villages of the province, with routes flanked by Segovian mountains, but keep your eyes firmly on the road – a quick glance away could land you an €80 fine.
