When to go

You’ll find the islands at their emerald best during the dry season from October to May.

Getting there

  • Planes

    If you’re coming from Yangon, take the short flight to Kawthaung airport in Myanmar. If you’re coming from Bangkok, the one to aim for is Ranong in Thailand.

  • Boats

    From Kawthaung or Ranong, it’s a three hour boat journey to reach the islands. Boat transfers should be arranged with your hotel; the Smith24 team can help, too.

  • Automobiles

    If you’re coming from Phuket, it’s a three and a half hour drive to Ranong, Thailand. From there, you’ll have to take a boat to the islands.
