Oft overlooked in favour of ritzier neighbourhoods, Downtown Los Angeles has had a renaissance in recent years, drawing eyes away from the hills and returning them to the city’s heart. Sure, it lacks the polish and perfect teeth of Hollywood and Beverly Hills, but this ’hood has history and artistic talent, home to Gallery Row, the Fashion District and the Historic Core.
