When to go

Tel Aviv has a Mediterranean climate, so it’s best to go between April and October. Make sure your long weekend includes Thursday night – that’s the night everyone goes out-out. Saturday is the Sabbath, so expect it to be quieter.

Getting there

• Planes

  Ben Gurion International Airport is the one. You can reach Tel Aviv city centre in fifteen minutes by train from Terminal 3.

• Automobiles

  Tel Aviv is eminently walkable, so you won’t need a car. Take the opportunity to get in your 10k steps instead going from brunch to beach to cocktails. Otherwise, Uber is ubiquitous and so are Tel-O-Fun city bikes.
